MASH Coalition
The Multifamily Affordable Solar Homes (MASH) Coalition is a coalition of affordable housing sponsors that have come together to promote solar to benefit their low-income residents. Collectively, members have installed over 12 Megawatts (MW) of solar through the California Solar Initiative’s MASH program, with another 28 MW of installations planned.

“EAH Housing is proud to be a member of the MASH Coalition. Joining the MASH Coalition has helped us with our mission to provide renewable energy to our portfolio, by advocating with a collective voice for the affordable housing point of view at the California Public Utilities Commission and the state legislature. Consistent with our mission we were gladly part of the group that was the only housing advocate to testify in support of AB 693 that provides $1 Billion in solar funding to affordable housing over the next 10 years. We continue striving to be a leader in renewable energy, and appreciate the MASH Coalition as an effective vehicle for advancing our efforts.”
